Madagascar.

Bushmeat is generally defined as meat that is illegally hunted, including endangered species or animals that are hunting using illegal tools and at illegal times. While the consumption of bushmeat is not always bad - bushmeat can provide nutritional value in poor communities - it may threaten some endangered species. In Madagascar, the challenge is to understand how often and why bushmeat consumption is occurring so that we can develop conservation initiatives that work in the context of these human needs.
